How to: Create a branch to another slide while running a slide show.
Solution:
Create an interactive button, and select 'Interactive Settings...' from the 'Tools' menu.
1) Create a button or insert clip-art image to use as a button:
a) Select the desired symbol for the button (i.e., square or circle) from the 'Drawing' toolbar.
b) Drag the mouse on the presentation until the button is the desired size.
2) Select the button just created or inserted.
3) Select the 'Tools' menu and select 'Interactive Settings...'. (The Interactive Settings dialog box appears.)
4) Select the 'Go to' radio button in the 'Action On Click' group.

5) Select 'Slide...' from the 'Go to' drop-down list. (The Go To Slide dialog box appears.)

6) Select a slide to branch to from the 'Slides' list.
7) Click 'OK'. (The Interactive Settings dialog box reappears.)
8) Click 'OK'.
9) To return to the original slide after branching, follow steps 1) through 8) to create a button on the branch slide that branches back to the original slide.
NOTE: During a slide show, click the button to branch to the desired slide.
